Terms of use
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Tap to Talkie app and this website. By installing or buying Tap to Talkie, you agree to them.
1. Who you're dealing with
Tap to Talkie is made by Premier Technology Solutions LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). Purchases are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, whose checkout terms also apply to your purchase.
2. Free trial
You can try every feature free for 7 days on a Mac. After the trial, dictation and command mode need a license. Settings stay available.
3. Your license
- When you buy a plan, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tap to Talkie on the number of Macs your plan allows: Personal and Founder up to 2 Macs, Pro up to 3 Macs.
- You can move a license to another Mac by deactivating it in the app.
- Each purchase includes 12 months of updates. After that, the version you have keeps working, and you can optionally renew for new versions.
- You may not resell, share or publish license keys, or try to get around licensing.
4. Acceptable use
Use Tap to Talkie lawfully. Don't use it to record people without the consent your local law requires. Don't reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
5. Third-party services and open source
Optional features can connect to services you choose, such as a cloud AI provider. Those services are covered by their own terms, and you're responsible for any account or fees with them. Tap to Talkie includes open-source components, listed with their licenses inside the app.
6. Accuracy
Speech recognition and AI cleanup can make mistakes. Check important text before you send it.
7. Refunds
See our refund policy.
8. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, Tap to Talkie is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Tap to Talkie in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time. If you break these terms, your license can be ended. Sections 8–12 continue after that.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app or by email. Questions: support@taptotalkie.com.
