- macOS 13 Ventura or later
- Apple Silicon or Intel Mac. One download works on both.
- A speech model, downloaded inside the app on first run (148.9 MB to 1.61 GB, depending on the model)
Installing
- Open the downloaded file and drag Tap to Talkie into your Applications folder.
- Open it. The Welcome tour walks you through the three permissions (Microphone, Accessibility and Input Monitoring) and picking a speech model.
- Hold Right ⌥, talk, and let go.
